Boca Life Magazine | January 2015
Gayle Wentworth brought Hawaii to Boca when she opened The Maui Spa in 2007. The spa specializes in healing the body without chemicals or invasive procedures – techniques that Wentworth absorbed during a decade-long stay in Hawaii.
This tri-level sanctuary is a fan favorite, and was voted No.1 destination spa in 2014 by the Boca Raton Award Program. Beyond the treatments, the spa offers a rooftop oasis for a serene cocktail reception, corporate event or luncheon. Or head up to the roof for the spa's spiritual yoga classes. Classes are offered every Wednesday and Sunday.
Guests call the spa "therapy for the soul." We can see why.
Products used: Eminence Organic Skin Care, Image Skincare, Pure Fiji Tropical Bath and Body Care, Kneipp, Comphy Sheets from the Comphy Company, Clarisonic abd Seda France candles

What to try:
The Huna Package is one of the spa's most popular for a reason. It starts with pouring warm herbal oil on the "Third Eye," or the forehead area, to quiet the mind and restore inner calm. "Within a few minutes, you kind of let go … you get into a different dimension," Wentworth says of the oil ritual. That's followed by a scalp massage and then a Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage designed to heal stress. The treatment finishes with reflexology a relaxing form of natural healing that involves specific pressure points on the feet; $250 for three hours.
